I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Human Geography, Lund University, Sweden. My research sits at the intersection of data science and human mobility, focusing on understanding urban mobility patterns and social inequality using large-scale geolocation data, spatial analytics, and transport modeling. I am particularly interested in leveraging emerging data sources, such as mobile phone data, to support environmentally and socially sustainable urban transformations.
My recent work on mobility includes a systematic review of empirical evidence on socio-spatial segregation and human mobility, and a study using 320,000 smartphone devices in Sweden to examine how limited mobility affects experienced segregation among foreign-born minorities. My research has been funded by the Swedish Research Council in support of policies promoting diversity and addressing urban inequality (with Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and Technical University of Denmark).
